Ordering and Sizing

When ordering bracelets and necklaces its important to know your size. Its possible to measure yourself with a tape measure but somehow you always need a third hand. I hope the follow two tips will help you determine your size, in an easier manner.

For choker style necklaces:
First find a piece of string that you know will be longer than the circumference of your neck. Knot one end of the string, then wrap it around your neck with your index and middle fingers under the knot. Pinch or mark where the far end crosses over the knot. Remove the string and lay it along a ruler or tape measure to from the know to your mark. That is your choker size. Even if you aren't interested in chokers its handy to be able to relate the length of a necklace to your own neck size.

To measure the size of your wrist:
For bracelets its the same procedure. Wrap the string around your wrist, with your index and middle finger under the knot. Mark where the other end passes over the knot, then measure for your bracelet size.

I size my bracelets as follows:

Small = (6 1/2"), Medium = (7"), Large = (7 1/2") and XLarge = (8")

How you would relate those sizes to your bracelet size is entirely dependent on how you like to wear your jewelry.
